This popular novel, published in 2003, revolves around Christopher John Francis Boone and a mystery he tries to solve. Christopher, who is also the protagonist of the novel, is not our usual teenager. He is a fifteen-year-old boy, with behavioral problems, and attending a school for children with learning difficulties or special needs. Christopher looks at the world in a different way and has a whole new perspective on things around him, which more often than not lead him into trouble. The novel begins with him finding Mrs Shears’ dog, Wellington, dead.
