This popular novel, published in 2003, revolves around Christopher John Francis Boone and a mystery he tries to solve. Christopher, who is also the protagonist of the novel, is not our usual teenager. He is a fifteen-year-old boy, with behavioral problems, and attending a school for children with learning difficulties or special needs. Christopher looks at the world in a different way and has a whole new perspective on things around him, which more often than not lead him into trouble. The novel begins with him finding Mrs Shears’ dog, Wellington, dead. Mrs Shears, who also happens to be his neighbor, catches him inspecting her dead dog, and calls the police, blaming Christopher for the dog’s murder. After being released from the police…
