So Far Gone

Ryan Hughes

Sometimes you feel so much
You don’t feel anything at all
And when comes time to shine
All you can do is fall
The same goes for all who grow
The will to live is strong
As you turn over every stone
So far gone

The song you sing to ease your mind
Doesn’t last long
You give all for the moment
Then the moments gone
Time swims by the world does fly
Try your best to sing along
Moving slow its time to go
So far gone

All the love I had to give
Was lost in a dream
Anger speaks in its place
So I’m seldom seen
I can’t go or stay and know
Just where I belong
On the road I call my home
So far gone
