This is a family owned bakery that is unique in a creative way. They make Philippine treats, like mamon, sans rival, brazo de mercedes, baked empanadas and cassava cake. They are also known for using ube, purple yam, which is a popular flavor used in the Philippines.
Ube, also known as purple yam. (not my photo)
They use this as an ingredient to make the ube cupcake, macaron and sylvanna. You’re probably thinking, “A VEGTABLE AS AN INGREDIENT FOR SWEETS?!” Trust me it isn’t as bad as it seems, it is a different taste, but in a delicious way.
