The Red-tailed Black Cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus banksii),
also known as Banksian- or Banks’ Black Cockatoo,
is a large black cockatoo native to Australia.
Adult males have a characteristic pair of bright red panels
on the tail that gives the species its name.
